Kaimaktsalan (or else Voras) is a mountain located in Pella perfecture (660 km from Athens, 140 km from Thessaloniki and 45 km from Edessa).
It is the third highest peak in Greece. Kaimaktsalan Ski Resort is the
most important ski resort in north Greece and operates with 4 lifts and a
Snowboard Funpark .
Kaimaktsalan Ski Resort includes many facilities such as parking space, restaurant, cafeteria, first aid station, ski school and ski equipment rental store.
All over Mt Kaimaktsalan, there are many places worth to visit,
such as the Pozar thermal baths, the impressive Speleopark located
in Αlmopia ΡΙain and the alpine village of Agios Athanasios.
Many villages offer options of accommodation (especially Agios Athanasios).
