Ladon river (or Ladonas) flows along Achaia and Arcadia perfectures in south Greece (Peloponese).
It is considered one of the wildest rivers in Greece, however there are
many rafting schools with experienced instructors and trainers that
offer safe lessons (to beginners as well).
The wetlands of Ladon are widely known for their ecological and aesthetical value.
There are numerous wonderful paths and trails one can follow.
The areas
around the river are also appropriate for other sports such as trekking
and mountain biking.
