The gorge is located next to Charakas beach, at South Evia perfecture.
It is a small (2km long) but beautiful gorge. Lentisks,
cedars, and plane trees create a magnifiscent scenery, especially in
automn. It is a relatively easy gorge to cross. The closest town is
Styra.
